Advice needed with early rising toddler. Second baby due in 5 weeks.?

I have a question for your question, does your child stay really active during the day? Some children like mine who are active but not as much as they could be. Like I am a stay at home mom, so he doesn't go to day care and get all his energy out, but when he get to play hard all day he sleeps well. I so feel for you having a new baby on the way and a toddler in the house, I would suggest trying to find a trust-able family member to maybe come over and stay up with the child while you try to sleep once the baby is born. It might help you out. The child has a routine of getting up early, its not bad just not convenient for you. I would not take him to the spare room to sleep more, he is already up.
