Dating online to dating in the real world: What should I do?
I have recently met a really great guy on a dating site. Since his account was about to expire, he sent me his number. I was actually about to do the same because my account was set to expire a few days after his. Either way, I wasn't 100% sure he was really interested, but decided to send him a text anyway so that he would have my number, and could do with it as he pleased. It turns out, he didn't think I was interested either. But we both established that we were and have been texting over the last few days. He initally brought up the idea of meeting in person, but neither of us had a day we could meet, so we've continued our texting conversation. I broached the subject of meeting again, giving him specific days that I was off. He was extremely busy with a sick child that night, so I understand if maybe he forgot or just hasn't thought about it. Here's the bottom line: I'm really interested in this guy, and he seems to be pretty interested in me. I don't want to overdo it on the texting, so where do I go from here. Do I continue as we have been, do I broach the subject of calling, or having him call me? I know relationships take time to establish, but I really would like to get this ball rolling! What's next?
