Can i still be a Marine Corps Officer if i have an MIP for alcohol?

over spring break i was with some friends and i was carrying a cooler full of keystones on the beach. a couple cops told me and my friend to put it down, and wrote us up an MIP. i am currently in the process of getting a PLC Flight Contract, planning on going to OCS this and next summer, and was just wondering how significantly you think this will affect my application or what you think my next step should be. thank you in advance for any guidance
