How do you manage these behaviours in your 3 year old?

creative cures worked well for my oldest child, i rarely yelled she rarely needed time outs and she was relatively well behaved for a 3 year old. my son however is what you call, spirited. defiant and mischevious behavior needs to be addressed and punished. if you let him get away with misbehaving to try and do some positive reinforcing he may not care that hes getting more attention but simply noticed that you didnt punish him for misbehaving. small children need to know where the lines are drawn, and that when they are crossed there are serious consequences, otherwise who cares? for example, i usually find myself goin 10+miles over the speed limit i never cared i recently got a speeding ticket. now i care and watch my speed more closely
